ERICW ® 8620 is recommended for solvent-based coatings and ink and powder coating applications. It is excellent wear and scratch resistant additives for all types of printing inks. This fine powder is easy to disperse, especially in solvent forms or oily inks. In solvent-based coatings, polyethylene micro powder wax has excellent scratch resistance and very good extinction and smoothness. It can also be used as an additive of powder coating to increase the yield of extrusion process section and improve the mobility of powder. It can also improve the smoothness of curing powder coating and enhance scratch resistance. This fine powder is easy to mix with all the other ingredients at the beginning of the production process. ERICW ® 8620 is a fine particle dispersant that is recommended in polyolefins including ( LLDPE), ( LDPE), ( MDPE), ( HDPE). The micro powder particles are very close to the pigment particles, and their statistical distribution is almost ideal. It is easy to be evenly mixed into the pigment particles, thus separating the pigments from each other. Thus these pigment particles do not form a agglomeration.

In different systems, the addition of micro powder wax is generally between 0.5 and 3% .

It can usually be directly dispersed in solvent-based coatings and inks by high-speed mixing.

It can be added by various grinders and high shear dispersion equipment. The grinding temperature should be controlled when using the grinder.

Predispersion treatment can be performed to prepare wax pulp with a concentration of 20-30% and be added to the system when needed, which can reduce the dispersion time of wax powder.
