Chuntai TMR-104 is a kind of rutile titanium dioxide pigment produced by chlorination process. It is designed for high filling and can provide excellent melting liquidity. Chuntai TMR-104 has both high coloring power and blue phase. Chuntai TMR-104 has excellent pore resistance in high temperature extrusion coating and lymph film applications.

Chuntai TMR-104 is mainly designed for plastics, especially for high concentration of thermoplastic masterstock, and for systems requiring minimal impact on melt flow. Considering the following properties, Chuntai TMR-104 is highly valuable for color preparation.

Chuntai TMR-104 has a special surface treatment, which makes the product have a minimum impact on the melting fluidity of the color masterstock. This property allows the manufacturer of color stock to obtain high pigment content in resins with relatively low melting index and remains a melting table material.
The effects of Chuntai TMR-104 and Chuntai TMR-101 on the melting index are shown in Table 3:
Melting index
Although the melting index is a good means to measure the relative performance, this method cannot reflect the actual processing conditions. Capillary melt flow measurements fill this void by measuring viscosity within the normal range of the processing equipment. Figure 2 shows that Chuntai TMR-104 used in 70% LDPE color particles showed little change in its viscosity at different shear rates.
Chuntai TMR-104 can easily moisten the surface of thermoplastic plastics, and can greatly improve the production speed when preparing thermoplastic color matrix with some hybrid equipment. A typical mixer power curve is shown in Figure 3, which compares the performance of two models of titanium dioxide, Chuntai TMR-104 and Chuntai TMR-101. Obviously, a 25% reduction in the processing cycle is easily achieved.

The dry powder packaging of Chuntai TMR-104 is divided into 25 kg polyethylene plastic bags and 1 metric ton space bag packaging. The transportation of goods is divided into us dollar trade for whole containers (20 metric tons) for shipment, and spot trade for overland shipment in China.
