Features Of PhireGuard XDP Flame Retardant

  1. Halogen-free, phosphorus-nitrogen synergistic chemistry for low smoke and reduced toxic gas emission during combustion.

  2. Excellent thermal stability up to 320°C, enabling compatibility with high-temperature polymer processing (e.g., polyamide, PBT, and PC blends).

  3. Good dispersion in engineering thermoplastics without compromising mechanical properties such as tensile strength and impact resistance.

  4. UL 94 V-0 rated at 1.6 mm thickness in 15–20 wt% loading for unreinforced polyamide 6 and 66.

  5. Low water solubility and hydrolytic stability, ensuring consistent performance during storage and melt processing.
