Features Of Daihachi PX-200 Flame Retardant

  1. Halogen-free formulation ensuring low smoke density and reduced toxic gas emission during combustion.

  2. Excellent thermal stability, maintaining performance up to 300 °C without significant decomposition.

  3. High phosphorus content (≥28 wt%) enabling efficient char formation and flame inhibition in polymer matrices.

  4. Good compatibility with polyolefins, engineering thermoplastics, and elastomers without compromising mechanical properties.

  5. UL 94 V-0 rated at 1.6 mm thickness in PP and PE formulations when loaded at 18–22 wt%.

Typical Applications Of Daihachi PX-200 Flame Retardant

  1. Wire and cable insulation for low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) communication and power cables.

  2. Flame-retardant polypropylene (PP) used in automotive interior components including dashboards and trim panels.

  3. Electrical enclosures and housings for consumer electronics and industrial control devices.

  4. Fire-safe thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compounds for medical device housings and portable equipment.

  5. Building & construction materials such as rigid PVC profiles and thermoplastic flooring under fire-class B-s1,d0 requirements.
